Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Unveil service, accessible at unveil.day.

Unveil is a service that allows you to create personalized countdown calendars for your loved ones.

2. Acceptance

By using Unveil, you accept these Terms in their entirety. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.

3. Registration

To use Unveil, you must:

  • Have a valid email address
  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Provide accurate information

Authentication is done via magic link sent to your email address. No password is required.

4. Service Description

Unveil allows you to:

  • Create personalized countdown calendars
  • Add varied content for each day: text, photos, videos, animated letters, voice messages, stories, photo galleries, slideshows, and playlists
  • Customize the appearance with different visual themes
  • Share your calendars via a unique link
  • Protect your calendars with a password (Premium option)

Free Plan

  • Up to 7 days per calendar
  • 1 active calendar
  • Formats: text, photo, polaroid

Premium Plan

  • Unlimited days
  • Unlimited calendars
  • All formats: text, photo, polaroid, video, animated letter, voice message, story, gallery, slideshow, playlist
  • All visual themes
  • Password protection
  • Interactive question for the recipient

5. Pricing and Payment

Price

The Premium plan is offered as a one-time payment per calendar, at a price of €9.99 (or equivalent in your local currency).

The price is displayed in your local currency from over 45 supported currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, JPY, etc.), with amounts adjusted for each region. The exact price is clearly shown before payment.

Payment Methods

Payments are securely processed by Stripe. Only card payments are accepted. No banking data is stored on our servers.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with European regulations, you have a 14-day period from the date of purchase to exercise your right of withdrawal and obtain a full refund, without having to provide a reason.

To exercise this right, contact us at hello@unveil.day with your calendar ID or login email address.

The refund will be issued within 14 days using the same payment method used for the purchase.

6. User Content

You are responsible for the content you publish on Unveil. You agree not to publish content that is:

  • Illegal or contrary to public morals
  • Infringing on third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, etc.)
  • Defamatory, abusive, or discriminatory
  • Containing viruses or malicious code
  • Pornographic involving minors

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules, without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Unveil service, its design, source code, and brand are our exclusive property.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you publish. By publishing content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to display and store it within the service only.

8. Availability

We strive to ensure the service is available 24/7. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance interruptions or updates may occur without prior notice.

9. Liability

Our Liability

We strive to provide quality service but cannot guarantee the complete absence of bugs or errors. Our liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the service in the last 12 months.

Your Liability

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your access (email address) and all content you publish.

10. Termination

You can delete your account and data at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, your calendars and associated content will be permanently deleted.

11. Personal Data

The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Modifications take effect upon publication on this page. In case of substantial changes, we will notify you by email.

By continuing to use the service after a modification, you accept the modified Terms.

13. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts.

If you are a European consumer, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
